I was riding the back of my sea dragon, Ajax, and saw a ship on the horizon. “Ajax, that looks like the ship that Polyphemus cursed… Go underwater, now. Make waves, and brew up a storm,” I ordered. I went up to the heavens, and watched as Ajax slithered under the water up to the ship. He circled it a few times, and the men never noticed him. He started to lash his webbed tail towards the surface, and made the biggest waves she had ever seen. He lashed back and forth, until the boat was overturned. Neither the crew, nor Odysseus saw the beast. “What in these heavens could have started a storm like this!?! The sky is blue! The air is calm!” Exclaimed Odysseus. “O, lord Zeus, spare my men and I!” The ship was about to be overturned, when I called back to Ajax. He slithered away, under the water, and the ship went back to normal. “Thank you, Ajax.” I said to him. “Yes, my lady.” Said Ajax back to me. I went to Zeus, and reported what had happened. “Ah, good! The man shall be repaid for what he has done!” “Yes, Zeus.” I replied and walked away. I called upon my wolf, and he flew me down to the forests. I don’t know if it’s such a good idea to hurt these people in this way. They did nothing too wrong, they were only defending themselves… I thought to myself. I don’t think that I’ll help too much more with this… I’ll stay here, in the forests, so I don’t have to be a part of it anymore. At that, I went to my favorite spot on the Earth, and I stayed. I disappeared from Mt. Olympus for years, until I was sure that that the “mission” was over. I went up to Mt. Olympus, after several years, and Zeus reported to me what had happened. “Oh… that’s terrible… but also it’s alright. At least Odysseus got to his home and reclaimed his land.” I said.” “Quite a fighter, that man.” Zeus replied. “Indeed.” I answered. I went back to the Earth, again, because throughout all of that, I had realized that I love the forests better than Mt. Olympus. I loved living with the animals, and all the nature. I think this is where I will stay.
